Do I need to bring my manual?
We do not look at manuals while teaching. It may be useful to refer to a camera manual at lunch time so if you have it to hand bring it along but it is not essential.

Do I need to do any reading before the course?
It isn't necessary to do any pre-course reading for the One-Day digital Photography course - in fact it might be confusing if you do. By the end of the one-day Digital Photography course you should have a good basic understanding of how your camera works and if you then go on to read photographic articles or guides you should find them much easier to understand. For other courses please see the links page for interesting material that might be worthwhile reading. It is by no means essential to do any pre-reading for Images of Canterbury Courses.
